Application of industrial endoscope in electric power engineering
The application of industrial endoscope in electric power engineering is very wide, mainly including the following aspects:
Internal detection of equipment:
Industrial endoscopy can be used to detect defects inside electric power equipment, such as generators, transformers, cables, transmission lines and so on. Through endoscopic inspection, cracks, corrosion, scaling and other conditions inside the equipment can be discovered and determined in time to prevent equipment failure and ensure production safety. For example, in generator inspection, endoscope can check the wear, cracks, insulation condition of rotor, stator, windings and other parts to ensure the safety and normal operation of generator.
Preventive Maintenance:
Industrial endoscopes play an important role in the preventive maintenance of power equipment. By inspecting power equipment on a regular basis or in accordance with a visual maintenance strategy, budding defects can be detected at an early stage, timely decisions can be made, accidents can be actively prevented, and the probability of accidents can be reduced. For example, the use of industrial endoscopes can inspect the internal condition of core equipment such as hydraulic turbines, gas turbines, gearboxes, generators, etc., and detect defects such as rust spots, stress cracks, corrosion, etc.
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Industrial endoscopes are also very useful in troubleshooting and repair. Without disassembling the power equipment, visual inspection can be implemented to accurately locate the fault, formulate a more targeted maintenance plan, and restore the normal operation of the power equipment as early as possible. For example, in the detection of wind power gearboxes, industrial endoscopy can observe its internal conditions in all directions, detect the wear of parts, tooth surface gluing and cracks, etc., and timely repair of wind power gearboxes.
Safety monitoring: industrial endoscopes can also be used to remotely monitor high temperature, high pressure and hazardous environments, avoiding personnel from entering hazardous areas for testing and reducing personal safety risks. For example, the use of irradiation-resistant industrial endoscopes can be used to carry out in-service inspections of nuclear power units, detecting the quality of pipeline welding, internal corrosion of the cooling system and other problems.
Specific application cases:
Generator inspection: checking the rotor, stator, windings and other parts of the wear and tear, cracks, insulation condition, etc.
Transformer inspection: inspection of coils, insulation materials, cooling devices, etc., to detect possible faults and defects
Transmission line inspection: inspection of insulators, contactors, conductors, etc., to detect potential faults and problems in a timely manner
Switchgear inspection: inspect circuit breakers, contactors, disconnect switches, etc. to detect internal abnormalities, wear and tear or other faults
Transmission tower inspection: inspect tower body, bolts, connectors, etc., to ensure the structural safety of transmission towers
Through these application cases, it can be seen that industrial endoscopes in power engineering not only improve production efficiency, but also ensure product quality, reduce maintenance costs, and improve work safety.
